A portrait of Hervé P. Gustave, better known by his stage name "HPG"; an actor, director and producer of pornographic films, fully realized from thousands of hours of the making-of during film shooting. More than just a look behind the scenes of porn movies, this documentary explores pornography and the passion for its distinctive realism. We come to know HPG as concentrated, sloppy, conscientious, manipulative, a real bastard, but also touching, funny, pathetic and imperial.
