One summer morning between ten and twelve, two cops are on their way to bring a family a message that will change their lives forever. The police car fills up with family members who are being picked up at home, at the hairdresser's and from work. Nothing is taken for granted in the backseat of the car, and as life rages on absurdly around them, everyday things begin to lose their meaning.

I had been curious about this film for a long time, and thanks to uitzendinggemist.nl finally got to see it. Great quiet and fairly minimalist film that manages to capture the emotionally charged atmosphere with few locations. Apparently little happens, but it still keeps you glued to the tube. Only the scene in the courier company took too long for me, otherwise it is a great debut. 3.5*

I think it's a very beautiful, poignant, little film. The style reminded me of movie house movies, which I think is positive. It is a heavy, emotional story, presented in an empathetic and realistic way. Good camera and acting. The silence that hangs over the film is like a menacing thundercloud. I felt the gloomy atmosphere so intensely. I think it's a very sad, strong film. Nice debut! 4*
