Arvottomat plot

A gang of mobsters claim an old debt from Manne. He gets two weeks to pay the debt, or to get a certain painting for them. Manne's friend Ville Alfa, who knows art, asks him to check whether a particular painting by Edelfelt will suffice. When Manne comes to visit ville, the mobsters have just run off with the painting. The beaten up Ville has to catch a plane to Paris, where he wants to write his historical novel. From this moment on, the events of Manne, Ville Alfa, the gangsters, Manne's ex-girlfriend and other friends of Manne intertwine...
