The Starving Games plot

In the most depressing corner of a post-apocalyptic future, Kantmiss Evershot (Maiara Walsh) sacrifices herself to take the place of her manipulative younger sister in the 75th annual Starving Games. In doing so, she must leave her boyfriend Dale (Brant Daugherty) and team up with baker's son Peter Malarkey (Cody Allen Christian) in a fight for her life. However, for the winner of the 'Starving games' there is a coupon, an old ham and a partially eaten gherkin.
