Exit Marrakech plot
Troubled teenager Ben (16) inadvertently confronts his father Heinrich, a successful German theater director who is performing a play in Marrakesh, with his past and neglected responsibilities. After an argument with his estranged father, Ben loses himself in the shadowy Medina and obscure nightclubs of Marrakech. There he meets the Berber girl Karima (18) and follows her to her birthplace, far outside the city, in unknown and barren land. She helps him find the courage to go against his father.
