Bye Bye Blue Bird plot
"They didn't know what they were looking for - but they found it."
After living in Denmark for several years, the two friends Rannvá and Barba return to their homeland, the Faroe Islands. They don't feel at home with the narrow-minded islanders at all, and they dress very urban, somewhat extravagant and colorful, and they feel superior to anything in the Faroe Islands. The real reason for their visit are unresolved family matters, which, however, are not easily resolved. Soon they try to run away from the answers they were looking for. They are picked up by a local fisherman, Rúni, who gives them a lift north. Along the way they meet many strange people, but the journey also raises new questions.
