L'Intervallo plot

A boy and a girl are trapped in a large abandoned building in a dilapidated area. She is the prisoner and the local clan leader has made him mandatory as a guard. Despite their youthful age, both have grown up quickly. Veronica acts like a mature and open-minded woman, while Salvatore is a man who sticks to his job and wants to live a quiet life. When confronted with the violence of this incarceration, the two young people have different reactions: Veronica is restless and rebellious; Salvatore is more forgiving and accommodating, either out of fear or realism. They are both victims, but it is almost as if one is blaming the other for their seclusion. But as the hours pass, their mutual animosity is transformed into an inevitable intimacy, made up of mutual discoveries and confessions...
