"A dramatic story of the last days of the Imperial Japanese Air Force"
Lieutenant Colonel Senda opposes sending Japanese pilots on a suicide mission. He thinks Japan can gain momentum in the war by having the Air Force team up with the very best pilots to carry out precision strikes on American targets. Senda looks set to be right after some astonishing wins. However, the success has led military leaders to expect too much from this elite team.
