Rode Duivels: Koude Oorlog in de Lage Landen plot

In the autumn of 1984, the Red Devils start the qualifying round for the World Cup in Mexico. After a dramatic start to the campaign, the success team of the early 1980s seems to be on the decline. In these difficult circumstances, the Red Devils have to force a place at the World Cup in Mexico through jump-off competitions. The opponent in those all-or-nothing matches is the eternal rival of the Netherlands. After a narrow 1-0 victory in the first leg, the Red Devils head towards Rotterdam for the return leg with a scared heart. On an icy evening in November, the Red Devils await a swirling Kuip with more than 50,000 orange-crazed supporters.
