She Loves Me Not plot
Philadelphia nightclub dancer Curly Flagg witnesses a murder committed by Mugg Schnitzel. She then runs off to avoid being apprehended as a key witness. Curly eventually arrives in Princeton where she hides in the college dormitory. She is aided by college students Paul Lawton and Buzz Jones, who dress her up in menswear and give her a mens haircut. In Princeton, however, Curly soon encounters the publicity men for the film studio of Buzz's father J. Thorval Jones, Paul's furious fiancée Frances Arbuthnot, Midge Mercer, the daughter of school counselor Dean Mercer who has a crush on Paul, and the murderer Mugg. Schnitzel, who wants to get her out of the way.
