Blackbird plot
"An alienated teenager's posturing online threat ignites a firestorm of fear in a small community."
Difficult teen Sean Randall develops a strong bond with teenage girl Deanna Roy. Deanna's boyfriend feels threatened by the friendship, resulting in a violent confrontation. To protect himself, Sean puts a death threat online and is soon arrested. When the police raid his home, they find rifles, shotguns, knives and ammunition, all owned by Sean's father Ricky who is an avid hunter. They also find a so-called "hit list" with 20 names of people that hurt Sean. Soon the media announces that a second Colombine shooting has been averted and Sean is confronted with juvenile detention.
