Clemson, businessman, and Effie, American diplomat, are a modern couple. Both have important jobs, although her job seems to be very important to Effie. When Clemson encounters Tarji, a princess who can do anything to make a man happy, Clemson decides he would rather have an old-fashioned woman. Because Tarji's father is King Bukistan, a diplomat has to be brought in to arrange the marriage. And yes, that's Effie!
