Documentary by Bob Smeaton about the British rock group Roxy Music. With its unique blend of avant-garde rock and polished style, the band around Brian Ferry and Brian Eno set the tone for the glam rock era in the early 1970s. The documentary tells the story of Roxy Music through archive footage and new interviews with group members Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, Paul Thompson, Brian Eno and Eddie Jobson, and a number of key witnesses and contemporaries. We follow the evolution of the group over the years, from its very beginning, over the classics in the 70s, their return in the 80s with a more brushed-down style, the end of the band in 1983 and the successful comeback in the 21st century.
