Against the backdrop of a corrupt police chief and equally corrupt Bavarian politicians, a young Berlin detective tries to solve the disappearance of a five-year-old girl, aided by a retired detective who has made solving this crime his life's work. The setting is around the Bavarian-Czech border, but I wasn't entirely sure where exactly.

A German crime thriller, then, but a nice, fast-paced one, with plenty of violence and a touch of sex. Dominik Graf manages to make something special out of all his films, even if they're not always successful. This one is definitely worth watching, although I didn't think the ending was its strongest part.
