The World according to Irving plot

John Irving is considered one of the most important American writers of our time. He has become especially famous for the quirky characters in his novels, such as in 'The World According to Garp' or 'The Rules of the Cider House'. This documentary follows the author on his promotional tour of Europe, as well as in his private life in Vermont as he goes about his daily business; among other things when developing his characters, but also simply when cooking or during his physical training.
