Saïgon, l'Été de Nos 20 Ans plot

France, 1949. Gérard, Pedro and Philippe are childhood friends. They left together for French Indochina, where a war has been raging for several years. Gérard runs a thriving business in Saïgon, Pedro fights on the battlefield, and Philippe is a member of the Army General Staff. Philippe's wife Fabienne and his Vietnamese mistress Phuong initially stay behind in France, but Phuong follows her lover and goes to work in Saigon as a nurse. Then Phuong is recruited by the Communist Vietcong to spy and carry out attacks for them.
