The Virginian plot

Molly Wood arrives in a small town in the west to work as a teacher. The ranch foreman, The Virginian, sets his sights on her and swears that she will love him one day. Steve, The Virginian's best friend, joins Trampas' gang, and The Virginian catches them stealing cattle. He orders his best friend to be hanged, but Trampas manages to escape and shoot Thee Virginian in the back. Molly tends to his wounds and falls in love with him, but Trampas shows up on their wedding day.
