Las Acacias plot
Ruben is a lonely truck driver who has been transporting wood from Asunción to Buenos Aires for years. Today, however, his journey will be different. This morning, Jacinta steps out of a motel near Asunción with her eight-month-old daughter, Anahí. They are on their way to Buenos Aires and Ruben picks them up. During the journey, Jacinta and Ruben gradually become acquainted and drown in each other's souls, although no one talks about their lives or asks questions. It is a ride without many words but with a lot of decisiveness.
