The evil and powerful Luis Bonsario tries to take control of a small California town. He levies taxes and plucks the population almost bare. The civilians are distraught and enlist the help of the military-savvy Don Diego. What the population does not know is that Don Diego has a dual identity that can come in handy. After sunset, he is the masked hero Zorro.
