Crowe knows how to create a beautiful picture of Pearl Jam and the archive footage is excellent. In addition, Pearl Jam is a favorite band of mine, which made it a great experience. The only problem, which also disturbed me, is that during the live concerts I was often taken out of my concentration/vibe by an interview or voice-over that cut right through the song. In Heima about Sigur Ros, for example, this went a lot smoother. Some songs really deserved a long version, especially the last minutes of Pearl Jam songs are often the strongest. I understand the difference between documentary and concert recording, only here the focus was sometimes not quite right. Still a good movie, but probably won't last long.

So I also had that problem, too many interruptions due to interviews. Are you just in beautiful images

of a concert, and it is broken down again. That dosage made the documentary somewhat depressing for me

That's about it, although it is of course a fine document about a band that I hold dear.

I'm not a big music fan, so I'm not a big fan of Pearl Jam either. Apart from two or three songs that pop up here and there in year-end top lists, you don't have to ask too much of them.

At times a bit messy documentary where indeed the vibes of the music and the provision of useful information have not always been considered.

It is atmospheric, though, informative too, in which highlights, but also lesser moments are recounted. Nice to see, but not memorable for me.
