The Girl of the Golden West plot

Notorious highwayman Ramerrez hides in the saloon where his girlfriend works. Sheriff Jack Rance is aware of that. He is also in love with the girl. He proposes to her to play a card game with the fate of the three of them at stake. When she wins, Ramerrez can go as he pleases unhindered. However, if she loses, she commits herself to become Rance's lover.
