Dawn of the Dragonslayer plot
Will and his father live a simple and pastoral life in the mountains. They don't care about the affairs in the neighboring lowlands. When Will's father is unexpectedly killed by a dragon, he decides to descend from the mountains to ask for help from a mysterious relative named Sterling, who was once a wealthy landowner and knight. However, his arrival is not well received and Will is put to work on a farm. He befriends Sterling's quirky daughter Kate and the two decide to work together to uncover their family's secrets. Meanwhile, Will wants to get ready for the fight and reckoning with the dragon that killed his father.
