Montana plot

Couple Bess (Gena Rowlands) and Hoyce (Richard Crenna) get into a big fight when a major oil company wants to buy up their ranch in Montana. Hoyce is eager to accept the offer, but Bess stubbornly clings to the old way of life in the countryside. She refuses to sell. This puts a lot of pressure on their relationship. They will have to pull out all the stops to save their marriage.
