Musanilgi plot
Jeon Seungchul's civilian license plate begins with the number 125. That identifies him as a North Korean defector. It is difficult for him to find a good job and he has difficulty getting along with the people of the Church. He is not a former criminal or a migrant worker, yet he belongs to a group that is discriminated against in Korean society. Like the stray dog he cares for, Jeon Seungchul is an outcast in South Korea's capitalist society.
