Altes Herz Geht auf die Reise plot

Underage Rosemarie is still too young to run her farm alone, but she can see that her foster father and manager, farmer Schlieker, is constantly stuffing money into his own pockets. To end Schlieker's embezzlement, Rosemarie turns to her godfather, Professor Kittgus, for help. But once Kittgus confronts Schlieker with the facts, it becomes unreasonable and even violent. Rosemarie then houses the horrified Kittgus in a forest cabin, where she meets Dr. Wolters. But when Mrs. Schlieker goes to the doctor in town, her husband returns home and finds that his wife has left him with the help of Rosemarie. Furious, he vents his anger on Rosemarie's farm...
