Visible Scars plot
Seventeen years ago, Mike Gillis killed a mother of twins and took the two girls to a house in the woods and claims them as his own to fulfill his wife's desire to have children. After committing multiple murders over seven years to "protect" the children growing up in the locked basement, Mike eventually kills his wife as well. One day, however, a fire breaks out in the house and Mike and the twins are buried. Stacey Walker flees to the cottage in the same woods to escape her abusive boyfriend. Meanwhile, Detective Black investigates the disappearance of the twins and the murder of their mother, leading him to the remote area where Stacey resides. Stacy is now on the brink of insanity when the ghosts of the twin girls keep appearing.
