Poupoupidou plot
"Who killed Marilyn?"
Rousseau is a highly successful Parisian crime writer who suffers from writer's block (a writer's temporary inability to write). Candice Lecoeur is the local beauty who, after attending a hypnosis session, comes to the conclusion that she is probably the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe. The two meet in the coldest village in France when Candice is found dead. The case is immediately closed and she is said to have died from an overdose of sleeping pills. However, Rousseau does not believe this and goes looking for information about her past and her untimely death.
