The Committee plot
"The mystery film of the 1960's"
A young man (Paul Jones) is picked up while hitchhiking by a successful but complacent businessman (Tom Kempinski). Bored and annoyed by the businessman's chatter, the young man succumbs to the temptation and, while the man checks the engine of his Mercedes Benz, knocks down the hood and beheads him. After a moment of reflection in the forest, the man decides to sew the head back to the body. The man regains consciousness and leaves without realizing what has happened to him. Soon after the incident, the young man is summoned to a mysterious committee. Gathered in a mansion by people who seem to have a lot of power, he is asked to think about his actions, which could easily lead to the death of other men.
