Divá Bára plot

Bára, a shepherd's daughter, is coveted by all the young men of the village. The parents of these boys are not happy about this, because they believe the superstitious women of the village who claim that Bára is the daughter of a witch. Bára has one girlfriend, Eliska, the pastor's daughter. Eliska is courted by steward Sláma, but she is in love with a student from Prague. Bára decides to help her by scaring off Sláma, but this gets her in the greatest possible trouble.
