Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful plot
A 'behind the scenes' documentary about the rock formation Bon Jovi, during their 2008 'Lost Highway Tour. Bon Jovi is the best selling rock band in the world. After 27 years, the band still fills the largest stadiums with ease and their ambition and joy in playing is far from extinguished. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi is the manager and undisputed leader. During their new tour, the band candidly looks back on a quarter of a century of rocking together in a documentary about success, leadership and growing up. Despite selling over 120 million albums, the band still receives little recognition from the press. That really bothers Jon Bon Jovi. He seeks a compromise between his artistic need and the need of the public. The other band members let Jon have his way. This gives them more time to play golf and immerse themselves in art.
