Tobenai Chinmoku plot
A boy catches a tropical butterfly in northern Japan. His teacher believes the boy has bought the butterfly and accuses him of cheating. Meanwhile, the larva of a tropical insect makes a long journey from the south to the north of Japan via various carriers. The carriers find themselves in a crisis situation defined by unhappy loves, traumatic war memories, failed smuggling operations or corrupt political intrigue.
