Nuages: Lettres à Mon Fils plot
For as long as she can remember, Marion Hänsel has been fascinated by clouds. In her travels, her gaze was inevitably drawn to it and she filmed and photographed the sky. It gave her a simple but daring idea: to make a film about clouds, with the sole aim of transporting the audience into a dream world for a while. For 'Clouds', which consists almost entirely of images of clouds (sea clouds, city clouds, desert clouds, mountain clouds), she traveled to twelve countries spread over the globe. They form the setting for the letters she wrote to her son since the beginning of her pregnancy.
