Zivy Bic plot

In a Slovakian village in the Orava region, people live passively and resignedly between the skirmishes of the First World War. Eva Hlavajová has been living alone in poverty and hunger since her husband was recruited by the army. Her misery ends in a tragic death and causes the villagers to revolt against the unbearable conditions in which they have to live.
