Marlowe plot

"Don't Mess With Man's Best Friend."

Since Robby's father was killed while working as a cop, Robby has been withdrawn and lonely. His father's partner, the police dog Marlowe, suffers the same fate. After seeing Marlowe locked in a police prison, he begs his mother to adopt him. The two become best friends and find support for each other over time. But Marlowe remains a police dog once and when he sees two known criminals in the woods, he goes after them. Robby and his girlfriend Deb chase him but are shocked when they discover that Marlowe has been hit by a car and is dead. Until one night Marlowe returns as a ghost and with the help of Robby and Deb wants to try to solve the death of Robby's father.
