In den Tag Hinein plot
Lynn, twenty-two, lives with her brother in Berlin. There she enjoys the benefits of family life, without really feeling involved. She does not have a precise goal in her life, but she knows how to attract the interest of many people because of her direct and spontaneous character. Her boyfriend David is very different: he is completely absorbed in his highly disciplined swimming training for the world championships. David isn't about to care about the complicating factors of a relationship with Lynn. When Lynn meets Japanese student Koji as a cashier in a restaurant, things get much more complicated. Although they can exchange few words with each other, it soon becomes clear that their moments together mean a lot to both of them. But there's a problem: Lynn isn't about to give up on her relationship with David.
