Act of Betrayal plot

Michael McGurk (Patrick Bergin) is an IRA terrorist who is troubled by his conscience after a bombing has claimed the lives of innocent civilians. After surrendering himself to the police and splitting from his former allies, he is offered witness protection and leaves for Australia with his family. The IRA won't let it go and wants revenge. Callaghan (Elliott Gould), a retired hit man, is called in to deal with McGurk.
