"Man to Boy, Boy to Icon"

When George O'Dowd, a teenager, realizes he's not like the other boys at his age, he dreams of becoming a real star. He is astute, independent thinking, with a passion for clothing and make-up. Leaving the suburbs of Eltham for the smoke of the city, he quickly becomes a regular at the infamous Club Blitz, the favorite haunt of the New Romantic movement.
