Amish Grace plot
The peace-loving Amish community of Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania is changed forever in October 2006 when an embittered man kills five children and injures five more. Then he takes his own life. The media settle in and the community is criticized for their unconditional forgiveness of the perpetrator and the way they reach out to the shooter's widow. Torn by her daughter's death, a mother also struggles with these beliefs; she can't forgive the shooter.
