The Wrath of Cain plot
Cain (Ving Rhames) is locked up in a high security facility, while his only son Ricky (Nipsie Hussle) is waiting outside the gates to do the same. Prison warden Dean (Robert Patrick) forms a strong bond with Cain and helps him get over his past bad lifestyle. Ricky, who has been estranged from Cain since childhood, is also later arrested and transferred to the same prison. Cain tries to mend the father-son relationship and convince him to stay on the straight and narrow. Meanwhile, Ricky's rival, JD (Gillie Da Kid), is locked up in the same cell block. While in jail, Cain, Ricky and JD learn that they have more in common than they ever thought, and Cain will do anything to bring the two boys closer together.
