Kawa no Soko kara Konnichi Wa plot
Sawako has lived in Tokyo for five years, has already had five jobs and is in a relationship with her fifth boyfriend who is also her boss. Her life with Kenichi, her boyfriend and his daughter from a previous marriage feels like a compromise and every day feels like torture. Then she gets a message that her father, who owns a freshwater mussel processing company, is ill and asks her to manage things for him. Sawako is reluctant to return because she knows that the whole town will find her there "that ungrateful daughter who ran away from home." However, Kenichi persuades her and seizes the opportunity to join his daughter in her wake.
