Murder in Mind plot
Betty Drew stumbles into a police station in a confused state and begins a lengthy narrative about how she just murdered a girl in cold blood along with her husband. Although one of the younger detectives is interested, it soon becomes clear to the others that Betty has been involved in a minor car accident and that she is the wife of famous thriller author George Drew. Her story is rejected due to her confused state, but Betty, although still suffering from amnesia, has a strong sense that a murder has been committed. The young detective decides to check her story, if only to expose her. Then it turns out that the murder has not yet taken place, but has yet to take place.
