El Rey de los Gorilas plot
Africa, 1838. An expedition in search of King Solomon's legendary mines is ambushed by a tribe of cannibals. A little boy is the only survivor. His frightened howl attracts the attention of the gorillas, by whom he is lovingly received and protected. The name his parents gave him is forgotten and from now on he is called "White Monkey". He lives with the gorillas for twelve years before being seen by a primitive tribe. From then on he is a legend. Frightened by the brutal human civilization, he retreats even deeper into the jungle. Years later, another expedition sets out to find this mysterious creature, who may well be the prosimian described by Charles Darwin, the ancestor of man.
