Swedish Auto plot

Carter is a shy and introspective young man who works as a mechanic in a garage with Leroy and his son Bobby. When he's not repairing cars, he spends most of his time following Ann, a beautiful girl who plays the violin and seems to have no interest in him at all. Despite this, Carter goes everywhere she goes and often hides under her window so he can hear her violin playing. While Carter adores Ann from afar (or not so far), he has his own stalker, Darla, a girl serving at a diner near the garage and she's clearly fascinated by him. A misplaced astronomy text makes it clear to Carter that Darla is following him and that she wants to start a tentative romance...
