Angyali Üdvözlet plot
Surrealist film adaptation of the classic Hungarian play "Tragedy of Mankind", based on the Bible books of Genesis and Ecclesiastes. After Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge and were banished from paradise, Adam demands from Lucifer that he also receive all knowledge. In a dream, Lucifer shows Adam and Eve several chapters in the future, in which they themselves play a part. These chapters are set in various important places and times in world history over a span of thousands of years. Betrayal, murder and religious strife are the main elements here and show Adam and Eve a depressing and bloodthirsty vision of the future. After the dream, Adam and Eve awaken and come to a decision that will determine the fate of the world.
