Orbis Pictus plot
Orbis Pictus is a magical-realistic film in which the absurd goes hand in hand with the everyday. The main character in the film is sixteen-year-old Terezka, who is expelled from boarding school because she is different. With a map in her hand, she goes in search of her mother. In the Slovak countryside she encounters all kinds of strange figures: an alcoholic, a (too) young groom, a woman who has been buried with her legs so that she does not have to feel them. Terezka pauses with them, talks to them and gets to know life through them.
