Der Bettler vom Kölner Dom plot

Interpol Inspector Tom Wilkins is the man of a thousand disguises and masks. In order to ensnare a gang of jewel thieves disguised as beggars to rob the area around Cologne Cathedral, he dresses up as an Indian prince and takes up residence in the Hotel Excelsior, which is also home to the head of the criminal gang. In the crazy bustle of the Carnival season, the thieves want to carry out their criminal plans. With the support of two private detectives and the beautiful quirky American Mabel Strong, Wilkins goes on a hunt for the crooks.
