Anybody There...? plot
At the shelter farm, which has been run by Wim Keyl and Jan Geyteman for twenty years, the boys who have been declared unmanageable, who are allowed to work there, receive no warning. If they cross the line, they will be kicked out without mercy. The harsh, unorthodox approach of the two sturdy men, who have neither diplomas nor subsidies, appears to have resonated with young people who come to serve their community service. They are given a caravan, heavy physical labor, hard training in Japanese martial arts and defense sports, and lots of rules and discipline. The camera follows daily life on the farm and zooms in on different boys. Even though Wim and Jan's approach is bearing fruit, the continued existence of their farm is threatened by government requirements: all institutions that work with young people must be certified within two years.
