Loup plot
Serge is 16 years old and the son of Boris, the clan chief of the Batagi, a people of reindeer herders in the mountains of Siberia. Together with a few other families, they care for a herd of more than 3000 animals. When young Sergei joins him on his first mountain trek, he discovers the hard work and of course the ancient law of the strongest. Since the herd is their only source of income, the animals are protected at all times, especially against their eternal enemy: the wolf.
