Hedd Wyn plot

In rural North Wales, young poet Hedd Wyn (Huw Garmon) is competing for the most coveted prize in Welsh poetry: that of the president of the National Eisteddfod, a tradition dating back a hundred years. Before the winner is announced, however, Hedd Wyn is sent off to fight with the English in the trenches of World War I.
