The Millerson Case plot

"Jealousy Brews MURDER for radio's amazing Crime Doctor!"

Former criminal Dr. Robert Ordway is now a criminologist. Ordway goes on vacation to the Blue Ridge Mountains in West Virginia. When he gets there, a typhoid epidemic breaks out. Three people are now dead. The first two victims did indeed die of typhus, but the death of the third person, Ward Beachey, turns out to be a case of poisoning. Ordway learns that Beachey had many enemies in the town of Romeo and that most of the town's residents had access to the poison. dr. Millerson, who has a suspicion who the perpetrator is, receives a letter with a woman's handwriting. He is asked to come to the river bank. When Millerson arrives at the river, he is killed in an ambush. Using the letter as her only clue, Ordway goes to Ezra Minnich's house, where her young daughter confesses that her father forced her to write the letter.
